5 Reasons Not to Put Your Kid in ABA

Описание: Today I am talking about ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and why, as the autistic mother of kids who are autistic we have opted not to have our kids in this controversial therapy. I didn't always feel this way. Two of our girls were in ABA for a combined 9 years. But my thoughts about the therapy have changed drastically, especially after seeing how much less anxious our kids were once we stopped the therapy. This video, however, isn't just based on personal experience. I go step by step into the reasons why I don't believe that there is such a thing as "good ABA" and why even though it has changed since the 1960s when it was born, it still is the wrong choice for autistics of all ages.
