NFL Throwback: Resimulating the Entire Super Bowl Era (Part 1: 1966-1975)

Описание: This is Part One of a six part series, simulating the entire Super Bowl era. We go through the entire regular season, playoffs, and Super Bowl. This will be done ten seasons at a time. Part one will include Super Bowls 1-10 from 1966 through 1975.

ALL C-Scores for every team will be revealed. Additionally, C-Scores from the simulated seasons were tracked and will also be revealed.

A QUICK breakdown. Full version in the intro:
-Games played on a modded version of Tecmo Super Bowl III (SNES). Player names and attributes were the focus of the mods. Jersey numbers, skin tones, and listed position may not always be accurate.
-Certain aspects of the game could not be adjusted (universal two-point conversion, placement of kickoffs, more).
-Schedules, standings, and playoff formats were customized to be accurate to the season in question.

Explanation of C-Score:

C-Score is a metric created by this channel to assign an overall value to a football team. It takes a team's:

-Results, including standard and Pythagorean W-L record
-Performance, including game control and play-by-play production
-Quality of opponents, specifically performance level against opponents

and distills all of that into one cumulative and comparative score reflecting the context of the season in question. When applicable, a team's playoff performance is also included.

A C-Score of 0 represents an average football team, whereas anything above 0 represents an above average team and anything below 0 represents a below average team.

A team's record is important, but not always indicative of C-Score. An 11-5 team can rate higher than a 13-3 team or lower than a 9-7 team. Not all records are created equally.
