Rajkiran Rai of Union Bank speaks to ET Now about the latest trends due to credit offtake and asset quality. He says it is too early to put a number but they expect a credit growth of about 6% at the end of the year. Second-half to bring about more growth. The GNPA's are about 14.95 and NNPA has come down to 4.97. Provision coverage ratio has improved and stands at 80%. The tangible provision coverage ratio is at 70%. Hence asset quality is substantial as an amalgamated entity.
Cost to income ratio to stabilise at 45%. The margins will be in the range of 2.5-2.6 as the low-cost funding has been affected. Even interest rates have been affected. Moratorium rates stand at 28%. Customer behaviour and loan patterns to change moratorium numbers.
