Vinod Dasari of Eicher Motors speaks to ET Now says, the company has reported a loss in Q1. The motorcycle segment which is of larger than 125cc was actually down by 74% YoY. Market share improved from 25% to 30%. Interceptor 650 was the best seller in the U.K market. Revenue stands at 818.2 crores.
Volume trends are gradually increasing. 40,000 bookings still pending and demands increase. EBIDTA at 3.8 crores. He also speaks on the demands in Indonesia, Mexico etc. Demand for CV's continues to be weak across the country. Royal Enfield has seen encouraging signs since June. RE bookings are back to near pre-COVID levels.
