Bath Bomb Recipe
Yields 12
Materials: stainless steel mixing bowl & 1/4 cup measure or silicon mold
• 2 Cups Baking Soda
• 1 Cup Citric Acid
• 3/4 Cup Fine Sea Salt
• 2 Tbs Fractionated MCT Coconut Oil
• 1 Tbs colored clay or dried food
• 15–20 drops essential oil
• Several Sprays Witch Hazel
• Dried Flower of choice
Directions:
1. Mix baking soda, citric acid and sea salt removing clump with your hands
2. Add your choice of color and mix again with your hands
3. Add the wet ingredients – coconut oil & essential oil
4. Spray with witch hazel till you reach a “wet sand” or kinetic sand consistency. You can test by squeezing mixture with your hand and it will hold together.
5. Put your flower at the bottom of the cup or mold, pack as tightly as possible
6. Allow bomb to sit in the mold for several seconds to set, turn over and gently tap on a flat hand. If using a silicone mold, keep the bomb in the mold till dry.
7. Allow to dry for 12–24 hours and enjoy in your bath
