Merry Go Round of Life played on Musescore.
I'm not sure what made me transcribe this orchestral piece, but I suspect it has to do with my listening to La Valse by Ravel (both the orchestral and solo piano) and wanting to do something similar to that. Of course, both pieces are completely different both stylistically and musically (the only similarity is that both are in 3/4 and technically a "waltz"). After finishing it, I don't consider it anything like La Valse, but I do think it's very similar to the original orchestral piece (minus some of my own creative additions). I think it's quite a shame that it's not a very easy piece to play because I wanted something that I could easily sightread.
I tried something new in this piece by adding various "humanistic" tempos and expressions.
