Описание: My name is Maren, and I am an aspiring full-time creative, and this channel is my attempt to hold myself accountable, share my journey in the hopes that it inspires/helps other aspiring creatives, and to circumambulate what it means to be a creative in a world that is burning. I have a film project with my partner, Jake, called Death in The Garden, I'm working on a spec screenplay, and I'm currently writing my debut novel trilogy, FALL OF MEN.

FALL OF MEN is a collapse-conscious speculative fiction trilogy exploring themes such as: modernity is the real dystopia, inherent human goodness, and resistance. Drawing inspiration from The Lord of the Rings, Andor, and my vision of a future where humans are in right relationship with the Earth, a group of heroes fight for their freedom as a tyrannical civilization rises from the ruins of our global civilization, 300 years after it has fallen.

In this video, I break down some of the key influences for my novel trilogy and the tools I'm using to structure the narrative.
