Описание: In this video we will show you the 2500 years old and historical village “Makhad Sharif” which is situated on the bank of Indus River. This village was settled before 920 BC. Today the ancient houses, shops, streets, ponds, temples, shrine and graveyards are present here. The port from ancient time is also present here. People live here in caves also till today on bank of Indus River. Makhad Sharif is the oldest city of the world and this city was the biggest market of salt. The trade ships of Indus Fotaila Company were used from Sukkar and Rohari to Kalabagh and Makhad which later merged in North Western Railway. Makhad remained the route of many rulers and they also kept this area in their rule. In 326 BC during the war between Alexander the Great and Raja Porous the soldiers of the Army of Alexander the Great ran out and came in Makhad Sharif. In 317 during the era of Nosherwan Aadil, Makhad was included in Persian Empire and it was the center of Hinduism. In 1027 when Sultan Mahmood Ghaznavi attacked on the Hindu Temple of Somnath Gujrat India he went there after passed from Makhad. In 1192 after Shahabuddin Ghori Makhad came in the supervision of Lahore ruler Qutab-U-Din Aebak. In 1520 in the era of Ibrahim Lodhi area of Makhad came under the Multan Government. In 1580 when Mughal King Jalal-U-Din Muhammad Akbar invented “Deen-E-IIalhi” than the citizen of Makhad Haji Ahmad Paracha was in front in the campaign against King Akbar. In 1650 a Sufi Saint migrated from Baghdad the capital of Iraq came in Makhad Sharif he spread the light of Islam here because at that time this area was the center of Hinduism. After that this Sufi Saint was called with the name of “Noor Badshah”. His shrine is also present in Makhad Sharif. This village is situated in Tehsil Jand District Attock of Province Punjab Pakistan. This village is famous for his delicious sweet food “Makhadi Halwa”. God has rewarded this area with natural reservoirs and minerals. The reservoirs of gold are discovered from this area and now gold is taking out through heavy machinery under the supervision of Pakistan Government. Ever this village was the hub of 4 civilizations Buddhism, Sikhism, Hinduism and Islam. Before the establishment of Pakistan the Hindus and Sikhs lived here in large number but in 1947 after the partition the Hindus and Sikhs migrated to India and now only Muslims live here.
