Описание: Three weeks sober, 21 days in.
Physically I’m doing okay, that part is going better than expected. Mentally it’s been a heavy week. I’m not feeling proud or happy and I want to be honest about that.

In this video I talk about why week three has been harder mentally. I explain some of what’s behind it, growing up with mental and physical abuse, my years of homelessness and the impact that period had on me. I touch on the PTSD that came out of that and why I’m starting therapy.
This isn’t about pity or sympathy. A few people asked what I’m going through, so I wanted to give some context instead of keeping it vague.
I also want to say thank you to everyone who commented or sent me messages. The support matters more than you probably realize. I’m doing this for myself, but knowing that sharing this already helped a few people makes it meaningful as well.

This is an honest check-in about where I’m at after three weeks sober and how I’m moving forward.
