Jeffrey used to suffer in his sleep. He would wake in the middle of the night, gasping for breath. Jeffrey wasn’t your typical sleep apnea case, either. Due to his anatomy with a narrow upper palate, he couldn’t tolerate a C-PAP. Dr. Reynolds performed a SOFT (Surgically facilitated orthodontics treatment) with bone grafting, and SARPE (Surgical assisted rapid palatal expansion) with a maxillary skeletal expander. By widening his palate, Jeffrey is now able to sleep soundly without a C-PAP. Check back in 6 months once his braces are off!
