In this presentation, Sebastian Naslund explains how Enviro-Corp Recycling is advancing the future of glass by turning 100% of received waste glass into new products. After outlining the company’s history and the evolution of glass recycling in British Columbia, the speaker describes how glass is collected, cleaned, and processed into furnace-ready cullet, Enviro-Grit blasting media, Vitro-Clear filtration sand, and the newest product, Enviro-Rock lightweight aggregate. The process closes the loop by converting even fine glass dust into useful material. The talk concludes with a challenge for stakeholders to improve glass diversion so more material reaches recycling facilities instead of landfills.
