VEGETABLE PAKODA
1.Big onion (julienne) 1 cup
2.Carrots ( “ ) 1 cup
3.Beans ( “ ) 1 cup
4.Potato ( “ ) 1 cup
5.Cabbage ( “ ) 1 cup
6.Cauliflower ( “ ) 1 cup
7.Green chilli ( “ ) 1 cup
8.Ginger ( “ ) 1” piece
9.Corander leaves ( “ ) ¼ cup
10.Curry leaves ( “ ) ¼ cup
11.Salt
DRY INGREDIENTS
12.Red chilli 2 – 3
13.Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
14.Ajwain ¼ tsp
15.Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
BATTER
16.Besan ½ - ¾ cup
17.Rice flour powder ¼ cup
PREPARATION
1.Mix all the items from 1 – 10 together, add the salt and mix well.
Set aside.
2.Crush items 12 – 15, set aside.
3.Mix besan and rice powder together adding 1 tbsp hot oil and
again mix adding the crushed items.
4.Add thid spoon by spoon, and mix with the vegetable mix joining it
with the hand.
5.On reaching dropping consistency, put into hot oil and fry in convenient
quantity till the outer surface turns crisp.
Serve hot with tomato sauce.
