Crabbing Under the Sun: A Slow Start with a Sweet Catch, Clean & Cook!

Today’s crabbing adventure 🦀 brought me right back to Pasco County. I really had my heart set on filming a dock crabbing video, but the crabs just weren’t biting. Ever since the hurricanes hit last year, some of my favorite spots haven’t been the same. I still gave it a fair shot and stuck around longer than I planned, but eventually I pivoted and went back to the spot from my last video and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.

I caught eight beautiful blue crabs 🦀, all a good size and absolutely stunning. Best part? No one else was there crabbing, so I had the whole place to myself. After I got home, I had to crash for a quick power nap. Florida sun or not, that heat was brutal.

Once I got my energy back, I cleaned the crabs and turned them into the most delicious blue crab and shrimp cake sandwich. I hope you guys enjoy the video and all the love that went into it.

Also, thank you so much for the sweet unspoken prayers 🙏 while I recover from my wisdom tooth removal. Thankfully it was only one because I don’t think I could’ve handled all four. Recovery is going well and I’m hoping to be back out there making more videos for you all soon.
