Scalloping the Florida☀️Way – Saltwater, Sun & Scallops

Описание: Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel! In this video, I’m out scalloping in the beautiful Crystal River area with Mellow Mangrove Charters. Our trip kicked off bright and early at 7 a.m., so I was up before the sun to make it out there. This marks my ninth year scalloping, and my seventh year with Captain Sean, who always makes the experience a blast!

I ended up with about a gallon to a gallon and a half of scallops—78 in total! My friend caught 39, and despite the heat and the crowd of boaters, we had a great time out there for about four hours. The water felt amazing!

After the trip, we stopped by a seafood spot I’ve never tried before called The Fish Guy, and let me tell you—the soft shell crab sandwiches were delicious. Highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the area.

To wrap it all up, I show you how I clean scallops once I’m back home. There are several ways to do it, but I just share the method that works best for me.
