In our 4th week in Ipoh We enjoy some experiences that only slow travel gives you time to discover. If we retired here, we'd also like to enjoy the beautiful natural landscape, so we took a short grab ride to the Tasik Cermin Lake area. Hidden in a natural valley of limestone kaarst, you enter through an atmospheric, 90-metre long, Tin Miners' Tunnel. It is a stunningly beautiful setting With the valley walls reflecting in the mirror like lake.

The Memory Lane Market held on a Sunday. Which has antiques, collectibles, and good quality second-hand goods. There are some great characters and bargains to be had.

We also tour the Tui Blue, the Haven luxury resort Make sure to watch until the end to experience one of the most beautiful accommodations we have ever been to.
Also, it wouldn't be a fun travel video with us unless it featured some incredible food. See what is hidden inside the clay-wrapped parcel: slow-cooked deliciousness. We also try a local specialty, curry mee, with its juicy prawns and chicken, in a coconut-based curry sauce. Every bite was truly memorable.
