I’m honestly not even sure if I’ve ever seen The Lion King (1994) all the way through… but after rewatching it, I completely understand why it’s considered one of Disney’s greatest movies.
The music is iconic, the story is way darker than I remembered, and every time Mufasa spoke all I could hear was Darth Vader. James Earl Jones is legendary, but once that connection is made… there’s no going back.
