Dr Jaishankar Attends Critical Minerals Meet in Washington | US Meeting Productive | India Today

Описание: External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar is on an official visit to the United States to attend the Critical Minerals Ministerial hosted by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Nearly 50 countries took part in the meeting. Jaishankar said the discussions were very good and focused on critical minerals, which are important for technology, clean energy, and manufacturing.

The US also launched a new initiative called FORGE, supported by India. It is the next step after the Mineral Security Partnership.

Jaishankar also held bilateral meetings with Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, calling the last two days productive and outcome-oriented.
