Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Malaysia on February 7–8, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) shared key details of the high-level engagement. Addressing a special briefing, the MEA said all pending issues, including the matter of Zakir Naik, will be discussed during the visit and will continue to be pursued through technical procedures. During the visit, PM Modi will hold bilateral talks with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to review progress under the India–Malaysia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, covering areas such as trade, investment, defence, security, semiconductors, digital technologies, renewable energy, healthcare, education, and people-to-people ties.
