How to Replace Clock Spring / Cable Reel on 2003-2007 Honda Accord

Описание: A step by step on how to remove your old broken clock spring for any 2003-2007 Honda Accord. The clock spring has the wiring which controls the Horn, Cruise Control, and the Radio Controls on the steering wheel.

There is one special tool needed to remove the air bag. The rest are general tools. I used a TX30 star bit screwdriver which seemed just slightly small but it did get the job done. I made sure that I applied a good amount of pressure because I did not want to strip the screw which would've created a much harder job.

All of the controls on the steering wheel now work again. We bought the car about 20 months ago and the radio controls never worked. Once the cruise and horn went I had to replace it as not having a horn became a safety issue for us. It only took about 1 hour to install and that was doing this for my first time. I bought the clock spring off a US seller in California for about $18 shipped. Let's hope it lasts and works for a long time!
