The Northwestern University "Wildcat" Marching Band performs their pregame show prior to the Northwestern vs. Nebraska football game on September 24, 2016.
The Wildcat Band's brevity pregame show consists of "Fanfare" (2011), "Downfield" and "Rise, Northwestern! (Push On)" (1915), the fight song of the University of Nebraska—Lincoln (our guests and opponents of the day), and "Go U, Northwestern!" (1912).
The "Wildcat" Band is led on the field by Drum Majors Anglea Yang, Allison Grant, and Amanda Hermans. The Director of Digital Media is Mr. Daniel M. Reck '08 MSEd, the Director of Bands is Dr. Mallory Thompson, and the Director of the "Wildcat" Marching Band is Mr. Daniel J. Farris.
