The Northwestern University "Wildcat" Marching Band performs their pregame show prior to the Northwestern vs. The University of Iowa football game on October 26, 2019.
The Wildcat Band's Pregame show consists of "Fanfare" (2011), "Downfield" and "Rise, Northwestern! (Push On)" (1915), a patriotic medley of "You're a Grand Old Flag" with "God Bless America," the fight song of The University of Iowa (our guests and opponents of the day), and "Go U, Northwestern!" (1912).
The "Wildcat" Band is led on the field by Drum Majors Jonathan deBruin and Ethan Reiss. The Voice of the Wildcat Band is Mr. Pete Friedmann '79, the Director of Digital Services is Mr. Daniel M. Reck '08 MSEd, produced by Lukas J. Gladic '19 BSCS, the Director of Bands is Dr. Mallory Thompson '79/'80 MMus, and the Director of the "Wildcat" Marching Band is Mr. Daniel J. Farris.
