Описание: Pre-labour is usually the mildest and longest phase (but some pregnant women may panic when it starts and you'll notice the flight/fright reaction will cause excessive pain and slow or stop the Pre-labour) the more you have prepared her for embracing this phase during the education sessions you have had with her during the pregnancy the more she will adapt to it.
The ceiling for pain is 6cms. Watch and over time you will see the contractions don't normally actually get more painful but they do get closer together, hot packs on the back and the belly can make all the difference to pain management, let's not call it pain management let's call it comfort measures.

Its mostly just in movies that the waters break at the start of labour, so that does mean that the general public think they have to wait for that to happen to know that labour has started but that's not accurate. Labours usually starts with mild dull rhythmic backache, mucus plug show, period like sensation and mild tightening's of the uterus. When the water breaks, which is the same as ruptured membranes, the fluid will more than likely be clear, although there could be some meconium (baby poo) in the fluid, which would either be black or green. The black it fine and the green may look like pea soup, so its best to notify the midwife and follow her instructions.
