Peter and I were blown away by the sheer magnificence of the Lost City, uttering 'wow' more times than we can count! 😍 The 2.6km moderate walk (anti-clockwise) is a journey of discovery, winding through the lower part of the Lost city, and rising to an expansive lookout across a valley. Then, it's a steady descent back into the heart of the Lost city, where the magic unfolds once more. ✨ This is a place that will leave you feeling empowered, connected to the natural world, and inspired to make a positive impact. It's an experience that awaits, but requires a willingness to take the first step – and a moderate level of mobility. 🌈

To reach the Southern Lost City from Cape Crawford, take Ryan Bend Road toward Roper Bar, and then Nathan River Road, passing through the stunning southern part of Limmen National Park. You'll find the entrance to Lorella Springs Station, and eventually, the Southern Lost City Campground. Note that the campground is currently closed due to fire damage, but you can still park and explore the Lost City. 🚗

For those seeking a more immersive experience, there's a National Park Campground at Butterfly Falls – though, unfortunately, no dogs are allowed. For larger setups, be prepared for a max 8TGVM and high clearance 4WD requirement. 🚐 Remember, there's no fuel available between Cape Crawford & Roper Bar, and it's approximately a 240km round trip from Cape Crawford/Heartbreak Hotel.
We've included footage of the roads from Barkly Homested to Cape Crawford to get to The Cavannah Way, then the Alternate Savannah Way to Limmen National Park, which were generally well-maintained gravel roads with a few corrugations, sandy patches, and shallow creek crossings. 📸
