Leichhardt Lagoon is one of those back-to-nature campgrounds, with simple services, stunning sunsets, and a great base to try your hand at bagging a barramundi! We spend a couple of nights enjoying the area on the Norman River, we show you an alternative free camp, then head for historic Croydon.
Croydon was the centre of gold mining in the late 1800s, and we were impressed with how well it's preserved and displayed on our last quick visit. This time, we stayed at a donation campground with good facilities for a few nights and immersed ourselves in exploring Croydon.
A simple mistake gets my heart racing as I see us parting with more money than we want to. What happens? What's the outcome?
