A very busy weekend of galas. With the Severn Valley Railway's autumn diesel gala the day before with @brunelheritage, it was time to get a steam fix.
The Mid Hants Railway hosted their autumn steam gala featuring 34059 'Sir Archibald Sinclair' and 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley'. The pair made a rare visit to another heritage railway with 34059s first visit away from Blubell Railway and 60007 having a break from mainline duties.
The gala saw an intensive timetable with 5 locos in action and plenty of opportunity to get both home-fleet and visiting locos in action more than once. It was good to see three Pacifics in action climbing the Alps with plenty of punters riding enjoying the day.
