The last weekend in April saw the turn of the Watercress Line's spring steam gala with a couple of first time visitors to the railway.
These were London and South Western Railway T3 class steam locomotive No. 563, courtesy of the Swanage Railway Trust and the 563 Locomotive Group
L&YR A Class 52322, courtesy of Andy Booth and East Lancashire Railway.
L&YR no. 752 / LMS 11456, courtesy of Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Trust.
Also making its gala debut post overhaul was Merchant Navy Class 35005 Canadian Pacific.
The final engine appearing in the gala was Ivatt Class 2MT 41312.
S15 506 was also due to appear but was withdrawn prior to the event due to the locomotive having to have repairs done to her firebox.
