Описание: 🔵 The Riddle is a piece of music written and performed by the British singer-songwriter Nik Kershaw, released on November 5, 1984 as the first single from the album of the same name.
The piece, which has remained one of Kershaw's most popular, is famous for its enigmatic and difficult to understand lyrics, which listeners have repeatedly tried to interpret; the artist himself claimed that in reality the lyrics of the song would have no meaning, resulting simply in a "guiding voice" adapted to the music, and declared: "In short, 'The Riddle' is nonsense, rubbish, nonsense, the digressions confused about an 80s pop star."
The Italian DJ producer Gigi D'Agostino made a dance cover of this song in 1999; both the original version and the remake were very popular in Italy.
In 1983, signed a contract with MCA Records, he made his debut with the song I Won't Let the Sun Go Down on Me. The following year he climbed the international charts with the single Wouldn't It Be Good, reaching fourth place in the Official Singles Chart and enjoying great success in Europe, especially in Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Scandinavia.
In 1985 he was present at Live Aid, a well-known and historic international charity concert promoted by Bob Geldof.
