Aunt Catfish on the River is a favorite restaurant with locals as well as tourists. Sitting directly on the Intracostal Waterway, the food is as glorious as the view.

Prior to covid, Aunt Catfish had a fantastic salad bar. Sadly, it is no longer there. You can, however, order salads off the menu. The homemade dressings were a highlight of the salad bar. Here are recipes for two of their dressings -- Thousand Island and Seminole French
Thousand Island Dressing
2 c. mayonnaise
1 Tbs onion, grated, with juice
3 Tbs sweet pickle relish
1 tsp relish juice
1 Tbs cider vinegar
1 Tbs vegetable oil
1 Tbs sugar
3 oz (.375 cup) chili sauce
2 eggs, boiled and grated
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Chill until ready to serve.
Seminole French Dressing
1 1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup onion, grated
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1 cup vegetable oil
Combine all ingredients except the oil in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. With the blender running, slowly pour the oil in to make an emulsion. Chill until ready to serve.
