RECIPE FOR JACK STACK BARBECUE CHEESY CORN

2 tablespoons butter
4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
¾ cup milk (warmed)
6 oz sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
4 oz cream cheese, cubed
3 (10 oz) packages frozen corn
4 oz smoked ham (I like to use bacon)

Preheat oven to 350.
In large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour, about a minute. Add garlic powder.

Add warm milk slowly while stirring. Cook, stirring constantly over low heat to get rid of lumps.

Remove from heat and add cheeses. Stir to combine and melt cheese (put back on heat for a minute if necessary). Stir in corn and ham.

Transfer to 2 quart casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes
