Macarons are the perfect treat and are such a crowd pleaser!
They are not as difficult to make as people think and they are as great (if not better) as the store bought kind!

Here is the recipe, but practice is important! Let me know in the comments how you get on ;)
I really advice you to use weight measurements on this one but if you want to use volume measurements (cups instead of grams) let me know in the comments
Ingredients:
Yields: two 30x40cm trays
95g icing sugar
95g almond flour
36g egg whites
95g sugar
30ml water
Heat until 110°C/230°F
36g egg whites
Whip on high
Add the syrup when its reached 118°C/244°F
Beat until soft peaks, not so stiff
Once piped, leave to dry ~25min
Bake @ 165°C/320°F for 12min
