When should my baby start walking?

Описание: All kids meet developmental milestones at slightly different times. Some are late bloomers, and some meet them a little bit earlier than others. But when it comes to walking, generally speaking, kids should be walking by 18 months of age. A lot of parents notice that their kids are taking their first steps sometime around the first birthday. If yours hasn't yet, then that's okay. Don't stress too much about it. If your baby does get to be 18 months though, and hasn't tried to walk, or isn't showing much interest, then that's when you should bring it up with your pediatrician. They'll ask you more specific questions about your observations, perform an exam, and then decide if further investigation is warranted. If you have any other questions for me in the future, feel free to ask them on our Facebook page at / intermountainmoms , and recommend us to your friends and family too.
