383 LT1 gets to have it's rings seated and overall health checked prior to delivery.
I don't really tune on the dyno but I do like to see good power numbers.
I use a carburetor to help keep the work and expense down. This time I used a single plane manifold.
The hp and torque curve show quite a bit of manifold sweet spots as well as flat spots.
Interestingly: Predicted power and torque via Dennis Staff Fast-Cat Porting Service Dynomation-6 Pro Simulator was 536hp @ 6400 rpm and 505 lb-ft at 4800 rpm with LT1 EFI manifold. Pretty close to what we saw here but I had the single plane manifold installed.
