Making sure the engine is perfect prior to customer installation into Street Rod. 1993 Corvette LT1 built by Street & Performance.
This was a fun job. The task is/was to make sure all is well and sound with the engine so that my customer can drop it into his street rod with the confidence that all is good with the engine. The engine was built many years ago and it has been in storage for ?15 years?
1st thing I found that needed attention was that the stock 1993 LT1 PCM had an internal short in the fuel injector driver. All 1,3,5,7 drivers side injectors were stuck "ON". Thus that would be catastrophic if the owner would have tried to start the engine with injectors filling up. the intake runners and the piston bores. That's the main reason the engine is running with a Holley Terminator X right now.
