A brand-new Ludwig Legacy Mahogany kit in Burgundy Mist. The Downbeat outfit features a 14x20 kick, 8x12 rack tom, and 14x14 floor tom. We’ve paired this with a 5.5x14 Jazz Fest snare in Mod Orange.

Ludwig's Legacy Mahogany drums feature three-ply mahogany/poplar/mahogany shells with solid maple reinforcement rings and very broad roundover bearing edges that call back the classic tones of Ludwigs from the 40s to 60s. These drums sound fat, round, and warm.
Drums feature stock heads except for the snare, the batter head of which has been replaced for a Remo Coated Ambassador. Toms come with coated over clear Ambassadors, and kicks come with clear batter and smooth white resonant Powerstroke 3 heads, all US-made Remo. Snares from the factory come with Weathermaster Medium over Clear Snare-Side heads.
