Spent the day walking through the Forbidden City in Beijing — taking it in at a slow pace, observing the scale, the details, and the atmosphere of a place with centuries of history.
We were joined by a local tour guide named Jack, who was incredibly kind, very knowledgeable, and added a lot of context that we would’ve otherwise missed. If you’re visiting the Forbidden City, we highly recommend booking a guide like him — it genuinely changed the experience.
