Simon Dorante-Day has been trying to prove his unfounded theory for over 20 years, and his latest bid has got fans agreeing with his 'obvious' resemblance to the Queen
An Australian man who insists that he is the secret love child of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles has produced another photo that he says backs up his claims.
Simon Dorante-Day chose to mark his 56th birthday by posting a photo to Facebook that shows him alongside an image of Her Majesty the Queen at around the same age.
Dorante-Day captioned the photos “A picture speaks a 1000 words!”.
If his allegations were correct, Dorante-Day would be the Prince’s first-born son and could technically lay a claim to being next in line to the throne before Prince William.
For over 20 years, Dorante-Day has been determined to prove his unsubstantiated theory that he is the second in line to the throne.
“I went public with my claims in the 1990s and sent out my first official release in 2005,” he told 7 News
“My first court case was in 2018 and my legal battles continue to this day. I won’t rest until I have Charles and Camilla submit to a paternity test, as per a court order.
“I want to do this the right way, so that my family and I can finally get the answers we deserve.”
The Queensland-born engineer maintains that he was born when Charles and Camilla were first dating, but was put up for adoption to cover up a potential scandal.
Dozens of Dorante-Day’s supporters have posted comments saying that they can see an “obvious” royal resemblance.
Carla Bartschi said “The shape of the face on the sides and the bottom are very similar, and unique. That's what struck me the most,” while Hazel Zanella added “those jolly genes are having a merry old time At all ages/stages, there is undeniable very strong likeness to your biological family”.
Several people have urged him to get a DNA test to establish his heritage once and for all.
Dorante-Day has even claimed that when he was a child his appearance was surgically altered to reduce his resemblance to his secret parents, although he has never provided evidence for these allegations.
Late last year he posted a photo of himself dressed as Sixties advertising mascot The Milky Bar Kid, writing : “This was at the Methodist church and for years I wondered why we switched from Methodist church to Anglican Church – well the timing was the same as the school change, and the eye colour change!”
Dorante-Day says that his “true parents” would have been powerless to prevent un-named “shadowy powers” from enacting the bizarre cover-up.
Royal watchers have noted the “quite obvious” resemblance between the “dead ringer” pair, with many saying they are stunned by the “uncanny” similarities. “That’s Charles all right, except more handsome. Truly remarkable resemblance,” said one.
Added another: “Wow Simon the resemblance is uncanny, that’s unreal. The royal bloodline is definitely prominent. Can even see the same resemblance as Princess Anne in your pic.”
Wrote a third: “Besides the obvious features, even their hair is the same!”
Said one more: “Your son looks so much like your father Prince Charles but also looks very like your grandmother the Queen.”
Another commented, “The chin, ears and hairline. Crazy resemblance” - while one more noted that the “genes are showing big time.”
