Welcome to week 6 of training for the Newport Marathon.
After last week’s heroics in the Cardiff Half, this week was all about recovery, before getting back into sessions.
The goal was to keep building the mileage, as we approach a deload in week 8.
As always with the UK in winter, the weather made this way less fun than it already is.
It rained almost every day, just for some added motivation.
I’m documenting my progress weekly as I train for the Newport Marathon in April.
The goal is sub-3. Stay tuned!
