Visit to the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery | Discover Bucks Museum

Описание: Today we’re visiting the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery, a wonderfully interactive space inspired by the much-loved stories of Roald Dahl.

Located inside the Discover Bucks Museum, this gallery brings some of Roald Dahl’s most famous characters and stories to life through hands-on play, imagination, and discovery.

Inside, children can crawl through Fantastic Mr. Fox’s tunnel, explore inside the Giant Peach with microscopes and puzzles, experiment with sound in the BFG section, and enjoy interactive experiences like green screens, shadow play, optical illusions, and Mr Wonka’s chocolate television machine. It’s a space that encourages curiosity, creativity, and storytelling at every turn.

The gallery is spread across two floors. From the entrance foyer, you can head straight into the Discover Gallery or take the stairs up to the Imagination Gallery on the first floor. You can even travel between the two floors using the Great Glass Elevator, just like Charlie and Willy Wonka.

We visited on a weekend and were pleasantly surprised by how calm and unhurried it felt, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable — especially when visiting with children.
