They are inconsistent.
They break all the time.
A lot of questions asked.
1. They are inconsistent even if you calibrate them with weight and they show close to 1:1.
Here is a video where I check mine before the pull:
• Checking the EH108 dyno with the 24 kg wei...
How they behave in the hand is a whole another story. Also they jam all the time and vary a lot between models since the quality control for a 10-15$ piece is close to non.
2. Even you safe money at the start you will spend it later since the amount of dynos I've changed is already more than 10! the handles were always breaking at the same point. Here is a photo of my first one that broke at the end of 2021:

3. Don't get me wrong when they came out there were not many affordable widespread alternatives that could go higher than 90kg/200lbs. But when time moved on and more dynos of the crane scale design were starting to pop up thanks to the GM, GD, DAQI, Monster Arm, XF, LZS using this type became pointless. With the crane scale ones we have an exact consistent metric among all the athletes and not like what kind of device you get will matter what kind of score you will get. If you have same XF300 it will be consistent among all models, if you will get same EH108 one will get 100 the other dyno 110, also there were some faulty models that showed non-sense from the day 1.
I'm giving out this set of dynos to a friend. He will participate in grip strength rating at xfbnba.com with the XF300 and with the EH108 he will compare it to his one, because a lot of extra questions were asked when he gets 102 with it and gas 125 with the XF Dyno and I get 111 and only something like 118...
I owned way too many plastic dynos in the last 6 years of training and now I'm trying to avoid them in general since I consider them more like a toy for the beginners to try themselves up and figure out is this a type of training interesting to them or not.
In my collection of 70+ dynos that are used to measure grip strength and not like a shelf queens with the earliest one from the 1930s I think there is not much space for this kind of plastics anymore.
Big Ups to Villmane and TVIKO$HERO for creating such a lovely vibe called Flaws. You can listen to the full version here:

Definitely check heck their pages for more great tracks:

Also my 3 playlists that help me to chill and recover for weeks:

This one I use when I hit it hard:
• 666 Hellsinki
The whole scene of grip strength meter is developing in a rapid phase and I'm looking forward for the new interesting concepts and devices to emerge along the way.
