Hello, everyone! Welcome back to Bapama's Kitchen! Today is a rare occasion—I woke up extra early and decided to dedicate this morning to showing you how to make a super simple breakfast recipe.
Phoa Chutney is a quick, easy, tasty and light traditional Konkani breakfast that you can whip up in less than 20 minutes with minimal effort. It pairs well with a cup of nice filter coffee or tea and can be prepared as a simple breakfast on lazy days.
INGREDIENTS:
150 Grams Phou (Beaten Rice)
FOR CHUTNEY:
1 Full Grated Coconut
5 Dried Red Chillies ( 4 Ramnaad for Spice | 1 Byadgi for Color) - Roasted
1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
1 1/4 Teaspoon Coriander Seeds
1 Small Piece Jaggery
Salt to Taste
FOR TEMPERING:
1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
1/2 Sprig Curry Leaves
3 Teaspoons Coconut Oil
