Описание: In this talk, Gaurav Agrawal talks about the next steam engine moment on which the world stands today. He walks us through the Industrial revolution, highlighting the economic growth and mobility that it brought. He compares it with the advent of disruptive technologies like AI in the global scenario and tells us about Adam Smith's Invisible Hand, shattering the myth about jobs being taken away from people. He also tells why protectionism is not in favor of a country like India and why India should make it easy for businesses to hire labors and ease regulations. Gaurav Agrawal is an IAS officer in India, who was a gold medalist from IIM-Lucknow and secured All India Rank-1 in Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in 2013. He is also an economist and a technology enthusiast. One of his goals is to leverage technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence, in public policy for the greater public good.
