0:08 WE are approaching the Norfolk Southern crossing at Middle Road on the east side of Dunkirk, New York on 28 July 2022. The lights are flashing, and the gates are down. At 0:26 Norfolk Southern train #316 hits Middle Road. The train is powered by a BNSF engine and a Norfolk Southern engine. At 0:27 you turn left on Progress Drive to pace the train. We hear the turbos on the engines whining as the train is going up an incline out of Dunkirk, New York. At 1:36 Norfolk Southern train #316 warns of its approach to the Werle Road crossing. At 2:16 you turn right onto Werle Road so that you are facing the Norfolk Southern tracks as Norfolk Southern train #316 rolls past. At 2:40 Norfolk Southern train #316 passes Werle Road. At 2:44 the gates at Werle Road start to go up. At 2:57 you start to turn around on Werle Road. You stop at the stop sign. You then turn left onto Progress Drive to go west. At 3:14 we see the Sheridan, New York. water tower that is painted red and white. The top of the water tower looks like a hot air balloon. The reason the water tower is painted like that is because it is just west of a runway at the Chautauqua County/Dunkirk Airport. The authorities in Sheridan, New York want to make sure that pilots using that runway are aware of the location of the water tower.

3:10 We are at the CSX Middle Road crossing on the east side of Dunkirk, New York on 24 July 2022. The Nestle Purina dog food plant is to our right. We can see the Purina logo on the tower of the plant. We are looking east at the CSX tracks, and we see the headlight of an approaching CSX train in the distance. At 3:21 you announce that it is raining on 24 July 2022. While it is raining, the sun is also shining. At 3:27 you zoom in on CSX train #M561 as it approaches Middle Road. At 3:50 just as a pair of Quebec, North Shore & Labrador Dash 9 GE engines pass us in a downpour. These two engines are the third and fourth engines on this train. At 5:29 a former Pan Am blue boxcar whit MEC reporting marks appeared. That car was followed by two Maine Central boxcars with a large "G" for Guilford Railroad. At 6:06 we hear a horn warning of an approaching train. At 6:34 CSX train #M561 passes out of view.

6:15 You pan to the west, and we see a CSX train approaching Middle Road. At 6:20 CSX train #I008 hits Middle Road. At 7:46 an end of train DPU on CSX train #I008 passes Middle Road.

9:01 We are driving south on Middle Road as the gates are down at the CSX tracks. At 9:26 on 28 July 2022 CSX train #I009 hits Middle Road. At 10:35 CSX Train #I009 passes Middle Road. At 10:43 the gates go up at the Middle Road crossing and you start to drive across the tracks.

11:11 We are at the CSX Middle Road crossing on the east side of Dunkirk, New York. We are looking east of Middle Road at some Maintenance of Way equipment parked on one of the non-mainline tracks. The track gang finished their work for the day and left the equipment parked until the next day. There is some additional Maintenance of Way equipment just west of Middle Road. At 11:58 you zoom in on that equipment.

12:15 We are at the Norfolk Southern tracks at Berry Road in Pomfret, New York on 24 July 2022. We are looking west at Norfolk Southern train #22K. At 12:27 Norfolk Southern 22K hits Berry Road. Norfolk Southern train #22K is powered by a BNSF engine and a Union Pacific engine. At 12:47 Norfolk Southern train #22K passes Berry Road.

14:23 You start to walk north on Berry Road to see if there are any CSX trains coming. At 14:49 we see that the is no CSX train coming from the west. At 14:52 we see no CSX train coming from the east.

14:52 We are at Berry Road in Pomfret, New York on 16 July 2022. We are looking east on the CSX tracks. At 15:03 CSX train #I169 slowly peeks out from the trees growing on the left side of the tracks. The train warns us of its approach to Bery Road. At 19:07 CSX train #I169 passes Berry Road. You zoom in on the train as it continues west.

19:54 WE are at the CSX Middle Road crossing on the east side of Dunkirk, New York on 9 July 2022. At 20:12 we hear the CSX defect detector at CSX Milepost 42.6 reports that there are no defects on the train on track #2. At the same time, we hear the warning horn of CSX train #I004 which is approaching Middle Road. CSX train #I004 is the train that was reported on by the defect detector. At 20:24 CSX train #I004 hits Middle Road. At 20:29 a mid-train DPU appears in CSX train #I004. At 22:47 CSX train #I004 passes Middle Road.
