The Buckysidestep is an easy way to climb or come down stairs after foot surgery. Please use at your own risk and check with your doctor to make sure this is safe to use with your foot surgery or foot injury. I find it's easier and faster than using your bottom. I've had both Achilles Tendon surgery and nerve entrapment surgery (mid foot) and developed this technique to help when I had surgery.
Other tips:
Angle your knee down on the second step, keeping boot off the step.
I hold onto the wall or the hand rail. For landings, I crawl over to the next set up steps.
