This is the first cake that my mother ever taught me. I had just entered high school and this was my all time favorite cake. This cake taught me the basics of baking. I developed the love for baking just because of this cake. Hence it holds a special place in my heart.
Ingredients for Easy Chocolate Cake in a Bundt Pan
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
¼ cup Vegetable Oil
1 tea spoon Vanilla Extract
1 ¼ cups All Purpose Flour (regular flour/ Maida)
¼ cup Cocoa
1 tea spoon Baking Powder
¼ tea spoon Baking Soda
¼ tea spoon Salt
½ cup Butter Milk (½ cup Milk + 1 tea spoon Vinegar makes butter milk)
½ cup Water (room temperature)
Bake in a pre-heated oven of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Centigrade) for 35 to 40 minutes
I use a Bundt pan (it has a hole in the center for even baking)
