Healthy & Tasty Sweet Dalia or Broken Wheat in Milk made in the Instant Pot
Dalia is broken or cracked wheat. It is a very healthy grain. I have cooked it in Milk and made it like porridge. It is an amazing way to start the day in a healthy and nutritious way. I have used very few ingredients and made it in the Instant Pot.
INGREDIENTS for Dalia Kheer cooked in Milk
¼ cup (or 4 tablespoons) Dalia (Broken or Cracked Wheat)
½ to 1 teaspoon Ghee (Clarified Butter)
½ cup Water (double the Water)
½ cup Milk (Double the Milk – Any type of milk/ Almond/ Soy Milk)
2 teaspoons Sugar (Brown/ White/ Jaggery/ Splenda/ Stevia as per your choice)
INSTANT POT settings –
Sauté Mode – 5 minutes
Pressure Cook – Seal & Pressure Cooke for 4 minutes
Slow Release for 15 minutes
