After getting it all stripped down, it was time to install the new gasket. Here is how I did it.
Few pointers:- make sure the gasket slot in the cover is entirely dry and free from oil. It will help a LOT when turning it over to fit. Also the torque settings for the cover are 10nM or 7.4 (ish) ftlb.
I hope seeing me making mistakes helps someone to do this in a more efficient manner. I did have to redo this as there wasn't enough sealant put on at the join between timing chain cover and head. It took me 10 mins to redo something that took me an hour when videoing and doing for the first time!
