Demonstrates what happens when you are too far from the surface: dry spray. A dry spray means the surface was too far away and paint dried in the air (making it splotchy on the surface)
What happens when you are too close: the paint can build and run.
When you are 12-15 inches from the surface and apply in mist coats, the paint is applied correctly.
