Описание: Join us as we take a glimpse into what was once cutting-edge turbocharger technology—focusing on the Turbocharger from the RB25DET NEO. From 1998 to 2004, this was the final evolution of Nissan’s legendary RB platform. Nissan, well know for there involvement with Garrett using a almost identical turbo from the Buick Grand National with the early T3 based VG30ET and the well known T25 and T28 platforms found on the Late VG30ET, RB26DETT, VG30DETT, CA18DET and the SR20DET. And the turbo? They worked with Hitachi to bring some amazing technology to the table one last time with its core design dating back all the way back to 1985 with the RB20DET!

Much like Toyota’s decision to sunset the JZ platform, Nissan brought the RB era to a close—but not before giving us a final glimpse of engineering excellence with the RB25DET NEO. We compare this turbo to the CT15B turbo from the 1JZ-GTE VVT-i, and the T3 Garrett turbo from the brutally iconic Buick Grand National.
