Summertime jazz violin tutorial

Описание: Summertime is one of the best known jazz standards. In this jazz violin tutorial I look first of all at the basic melody, and how it needs to be subtly rephrased as you perform it. I then offer suggestions for how to approach soloing on Summertime, trying out the minor pentatonic, minor blues scale, arpeggios on the chords, the harmonic minor scale, and riffs emphasising the minor sixth and minor 9th.
