📝 Description:
Isaiah 43 delivers one of the most powerful assurances in Scripture: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” In this chapter, God reminds Israel that He is their Creator, Redeemer, and Savior, and that despite their failures, His covenant purpose remains.
Through the imagery of waters, fire, wilderness, and desert, the Lord promises His presence and deliverance. He declares that there is no other Savior, calls Israel to be His witnesses among the nations, and promises a “new thing”—a new work of redemption that only He can accomplish.
This lesson explores the historical setting, the courtroom challenge against the nations and their idols, and the profound message of grace: God forgives and restores for the sake of His own name.
